Straight ducts & fittings are manufactured from galvanized steel sheet in accordance with ASTM 653, G90 zinc coating as standard supplied with factory applied sealant on all longitudinal joints for S & Drive slip ducts and on transverse joints for all flanged end ducts & fittings. Construction schedule is based on SMACNA & DW 144 standards. They may be supplied either fully assembled form or knocked down form for straight ducts (will be assembled on site). The fittings are delivered fully assembled with factory applied sealant. Rectangular straight ducts are used for HVAC air distribution systems.
Standard spiral round ducts and fittings are normally manufactured from hot dip galvanized steel coil (as per ASTM A653) lock forming quality grade and as specified in SMACNA Standards and DW144 sheet metal ductworks. Spiral Round ducts are used for HVAC air distribution system.
Combination Fire & Smoke Dampers
Fire/Smoke Dampers provide automatic means of localizing areas of smoke and/or fire in ventilation systems. They prevent the distribution of fire and/or smoke through ventilation ductworks. Such dampers offer an effective barrier maintaining integrity in a fire situation and may be combined with low leakage characteristic for smoke management. They are suitable for installation in sheet metal ductworks or in walls or ceiling slabs made from concrete, brick & lightweight partition walls. Pressure Relief Dampers are used in intake & discharge openings in commercial and residential air conditioning systems. When the ventilation system is on, the blades of the pressure relief damper are held in the open position by the air flow. If the system is switched off, the damper blades close automatically, thus preventing reverse airflow and giving protection against the ingress of air, rain and birds into the air conditioning system.

Frame is manufactured from carbon steel channel with faceplate and blades from double skin airfoil carbon steel with latch mechanism to lock blades in closed position after blast.
Remotely Operated Balancing Dampers that are cable operated remotely controlled volume dampers in inaccessible branch ducts feeding continuous linear diffuser plenums and where otherwise indicated. Dampers shall be adjustable through the diffuser face with standard tools. Galvanized steel radial damper shall be actuated by a plated steel rotary cable which is fixed at the damper end in an integral support bracket. Entire assembly shall be furnished as one piece for installation with no linkage adjustment required or miscellaneous small parts.
